FESTIVAL OF FOOTY-Updated 18.5.12

On Saturday 19 May 2012, Logan Brothers RLC will host a Festival of Footy.  This date was intended to celebrate the redevelopment and opening of our fields however this will be scheduled within the next few months.

Our youngest stars and our Senior teams will show case their talents on the new pitch.

• 12.30 pm - Our two u6s teams will christen the new field.
• 1.30 pm - Opens 2 vs Sunnybank
• 3.00 pm - Opens 1 vs Souths Juniors

It is set to be an expolsive day of footy!

The Senior teams are holding a funraiser social from 7.00 pm at the clubrooms.  Tickets $25 includes DJ SOS, supper and reasonably priced drinks. Tickets available from the bar or our Senior players.

Player registrations 2012 Update

We are pleased to announce that Logan Brothers has a total of 33 team nominations for the 2012 rugby league season ranging between age groups from u6 to Opens teams.

Please be advised that ALL grades are now at capacity levels,  u14-17 girls team, which still requires a few players.

On this basis, NO further registrations will be taken expect for our r u14-17 girls team. Please make enquires at the office between Mon-Wed 6-7 pm.

Registrations for 2013 will re-open in February 2013.  Keep checking the website for regular updates.

Queensland Under 16's

Congratulations to George Fai for making the squad "Queensland Under 16's".  Good luck with the game.

The Queensland Under 16 team to play NSW in Melbourne on May 23 has been announced.

The annual match is a curtain-raiser to Game 1 of the Harvey Norman State of Origin series between the Maroons and Blues.

Mackay's Anthony Seibold will coach the Queensland team, which was selected following the Cyril Connell Cup grand final last weekend.

* LeagueSafe (2.5 hour course) - two sessions per day, morning starts 8.15am /  afternoon starts 12.45pm

- Sat 26.5.12 @ Lavalla Centre, Paddington

Cost: $30 (include registration and shirt) - pay at Logan Brothers Bar and hand form into the office

*Coaching Courses (Modified/International) (1 day course)

- Sat 26.5.12 @ Griffith Uni, Mt Gravatt

Cost: $55 - modified & $66 for international course

 *FAO Reaccreditation & CPR update / FAO Equivalency

All first aid personnel working within the rugby league clubs MUST have current ARL FAO accreditation. 

If any person has accreditation from an alternative provider they must request equivalency prior to participation at training or matches.

Apart from the Touch Judges course, a registration form (which must be completed in full to ensure correct spelling to ensure correct spelling) and full payment is required for the above courses.
